$20.00 per hour, maximum of 20 hours per week
The Intern, People & Culture will support APHL's People & Culture (P&C) department in fostering a positive and engaging workplace environment. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to assist with various initiatives in employment engagement, development, and education. The Intern will gain practical experience in HR-related projects and contribute to the department’s mission of promoting a dynamic and inclusive organizational culture. This position reports to the Senior Specialist, Engagement & Development.
This is a remote-friendly position that requires the employee to reside within the DC, Maryland or Northern Virginia area. Occasional in-person attendance at APHL Headquarters in Bethesda, MD is required, typically up to 4 or more times a year. Some of these on-site requirements may be requested on short notice.

APHL’s member laboratories protect the public’s health by monitoring and detecting infectious and foodborne diseases, environmental contaminants, terrorist agents, genetic disorders in newborns and other diverse health threats.
